The Georgia Guidestones

A blue print for a New World Order?

Georgia GuidstonesThe Georgia Guidestones are located on one of the highest hilltops in Elbert County, Georgia USA on a farm near Georgia State Highway 77. They are somewhat reminiscent of the famous ancient stone monument Stonehenge which is located in the UK. Although relatively unknown the mysterious Georgia Guidestones serve as an important link to the occult hierarchy which has for centuries and continues to dominate our world through Freemasonry, the Kabala, the Rosicrucian Order and other esoteric and secret societies.

The origins of the Georgia Guidestones, sometimes referred to as America's Stonehenge, are surrounded in mystery as the true identity of the group who commissioned the monument has never been accurately identified despite intensive investigations by many news agencies.

What is known is that in June 1979, a well-dressed and well-spoken stranger visited the Elberton Granite Finishing Company in order to hire them to build the towering 6m tall Georgia Guidestones. He claimed to be called R. C. Christian but it soon became apparent that this was not his real name. He refused to reveal his true identity to anyone except the president of the local bank in Elberton. He had told the Elberton Granite Finishing Company that he represented a group of men who wanted to offer their direction to humanity by "leaving a message for future generations". The group had planned building the monument for more than 20 years. One popular hypothesis is that the pseudonym was a tribute to the legendary 14th-century founder of Rosicrucianism, Christian Rosenkreuz.

R. C. Christian's group sent a philosophical message to the Elberton Granite Finishing Company from which the following quotation is taken:

"It is very probable that humanity now possesses the knowledge needed to establish an effective world government. In some way that knowledge must be widely seeded in the consciousness of all mankind. Very soon the hearts of our human family must be touched and warmed so we will welcome a global rule of reason."
Madam Helena Blavatsky

Notice the mention of 'world government' and 'global rule' and both phrases implications of a New World Order. The Georgia Guidsestones appear to be an expression of the basic philosophy of the New Age Movement. The New Age Movement and New Age Spirituality are deeply connected to various occult and esoteric practices and groups, self proclaimed Luciferian, Madam Helena Blavatsky (born Helena von Hahn) who was the founder of the Theosphical Society is credited with being the main pioneer behind the New Age Movement.

The 951 cubic feet pyramid blue granite Guidestones weigh some 237,746 lbs (approxiamtely 119 tons) and were carved using thermal lances rather than waterjets, the 4,000 characters of lettering were etched by sandblasting.

The Center Stone or Gnomen, has a hole in its center, drilled at eye level from the South to the North. This hole or window is aligned with the Pole Star (North Star), so that the Pole Star is always visible, symbolizing constancy and orientation with the heavens.

The four large upright blocks pointing outward are oriented to the limits of the migration of the moon during the course of the year.

A slot cut in the middle of the Gnomen stone forms a window which aligns with the positions of the rising sun at the Summer and Winter Solstices and at the Equinox, so that the noon sun shines to indicate noon on a curved line.

The cap stone includes a calendar of sorts, where sunlight beams through a 7/8 inch hole at noon, and shines on the South face of the center stone. As the sun makes its travel cycle, the spot beamed through the hole can tell the day of the year at noon each day. Allowances are made because of variations between standard time and sun time to set the beam of sunlight at an equation of time.

The site chosen for the Geogria Guidestones commands a view to the East and to the West and is within the range of the Summer and Winter sunrises and sunsets. The stones are oriented in those directions.

The messages engraved on the Georgia Guidestones in eight different modern languages (English, Spanish, Swahili, Hindi, Hebrew, Arabic, Chinese and Russian) deal with four major issues:

The establishment of a one world government (or New World Order), court and language, population and reproduction control, the environment and man's relationship to nature and spirituality.

The actual ten point message which some regard to be the 10 commandments of the New World Order or New Age consist of guidelines or principles that are engraved on each face of the Georgia Guidestones in a different language. They read:

  • Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature.
  • Guide reproduction wisely - improving fitness and diversity.
  • Unite humanity with a living new language.
  • Rule passion - faith - tradition - and all things with tempered reason.
  • Protect people and nations with fair laws and just courts.
  • Let all nations rule internally resolving external disputes in a one world court.
  • Avoid petty laws and useless officials.
  • Balance personal rights with social duties.
  • Prize truth - beauty - love - seeking harmony with the infinite.
  • Be not a cancer on the earth - Leave room for nature - Leave room for nature.

The most disturbing part of the message is the limiting of the world population to 500 million. The current world population is approximately 6.7 billion, therefore, for this guideline to be met would require the extermination of nine-tenths of the worlds people!

A shorter message in four ancient languages (Babylonian, Classical Greek, Sanskrit and Egyptian Hieroglyphs) is engraved on the capstones and reads:

"Let these be guidestones to an age of reason."

Georgia Guidestones - Let these be guidestones to an age of reason

An additional stone tablet, which is set in the ground a few feet to the west of the monument, provides some clarifying notes on the history and purpose of the Georgia Guidestones. It identifies the various languages inscribed on it, lists various facts about the size, weight, and astronomical features of the stones, the date it was erected, and the sponsors of the project. It also speaks of a time capsule buried under the tablet, but the positions on the stone reserved for filling in the dates on which the capsule was buried and is to be opened are missing, so it is not clear whether the time capsule was ever put in place. The tablet is with one edge to each of the cardinal directions, and is inscribed such that the northern edge is the "top" of the inscription.

It has been speculated that the initials of the mysterious commissioner of the Georgia Guidestones, "R. C." and the choice of Pyramid Granite Blue stone to build the monument are symbolic of the Rose Cross and Rosicrucian Order. The Rosicrucian Order is an ancient secret society and esoteric order with roots in occultism, mysticism and the Western mystery traditions. The Rosicrucian Order is often linked to the secret societies of Freemasonry and the Order of the Illuminati.
